Mount Arafat is the hill Muslims believe the prophet Muhammad stood and delivered his Farewell Sermon to the Muslims who had accompanied him for the Haj towards the end of his life. It is about 70m high.
The pathway to the summit is narrow and extremely crowded with pilgrims jostling to go up & down. Shinta & I were content to observe it from the base.
